Themed events are one of the most exciting events to be invited to.Guests and staff alike can often take part in the theme by dressing up the appropriate attire.Most events of this type are staged by the venue or company hiring the venue wishing to entertain its customers or employees.London is one of the most expensive places to hold a themed event but it also has the greatest concentration of some of the most diverse venues available anywhere in the country.Having chosen and booked the venue, the next task is to set about theming the event.

Earlier times such as the 1920 s can be emulated by a Charleston style or the 40 s involving the Second World War by use of special props and costumes from that era.With the theme firmly in place, the rest is down to the host to involve themselves in how the theme is portrayed.To this end, event decorations are everything.A retro or disco theme covering the 1970 s and 80 s is till very popular and can incorporate music and fancy dress from these decades.There is also much that can be done with glam rock through balloon decorations and coloured lighting - you would believe you are back in the 70 s.
