New years eve party decorations
What fun is a new years eve party without some quality decorations? With the 31st of December now fast approaching once again; its time for event organisers to start thinking about how to decorate their chosen venue for this top night of the year. There are many ways to go about it. A good theme is the best starting point followed by the colour scheme.Popular themes are still the old favourites such as Hollywood, Underwater, Jungle and Winter Wonderland. When the theme is settled the colours are often an automatic choice.
For instance Jungle can use colours such as green, orange and brown while Winter Wonderland would require mostly blue, silver and white. Balloon decorations are an excellent choice for getting the theme across to the guests in a cost effective yet fun way.The countdown to midnight is often marked by the detonation of at least four exploding balloons. With the Big Ben chimes playing in the background and the guests counting down to twelve o clock the big balloons on the ceiling explode to drop a shower of small white balloons and flutter fetti down to the dance floor below.
Guests then stamp on all the small balloons for fun before carrying on with the dancing. All guest tables should have a balloon cluster of between 3 to7 balloons. Most of the balloons are filled with helium balloon gas to make them float. The foil balloons always stay inflated longer than the latex balloons so if the party is due to go on well in to the early hours, foils are the best choice.Novelties are another hit with the guests. These can range from confetti cannons, party poppers, and streamers to party hats, blowouts and rocket balloons. You can always tell if the party has been a great success because the guests will all want to take away a balloon arrangement at the end of the evening.
